How does a mixing or mastering project work?
You send your final stems or mixdown together with reference tracks. After a short review, we clarify the goal and direction. I then work carefully on the track and send you a first version for approval.
How should I prepare my files for upload?
For mixing, export every track separately, clearly named and without a limiter on the master. For mastering, an unlimited stereo mixdown with sufficient headroom is enough – ideally WAV or AIFF at the original sample rate.
What is the difference between mixing and mastering?
Mixing balances, processes and spatially combines the individual tracks. Mastering then refines the finished stereo mix, optimises translation, dynamics and loudness, and prepares it for streaming, clubs and radio.
How many revisions are included?
After the first version, you can give focused feedback on balance, tone, vocals, effects or impact. One revision is included; any further adjustments are discussed transparently depending on the scope.
How long does delivery take?
You normally receive the first version within three to five working days after all files have arrived. For multiple tracks or particularly large sessions, we agree on the schedule in advance.
How loud will my track be for radio and streaming?
I optimise loudness for the genre and target medium without unnecessary clipping or audible pumping. The track remains powerful and dynamic and works on streaming platforms as well as on radio and in clubs.
